Tuition and Fees

1. Application fee: US$80

2. Tuition: US$1400 for the first semester and US$1300 for subsequent semester(s)

 

Application

1. Application period:

    April 15 to June 10 for the course that starts in fall

    October 15 to December 10 for the course that starts in spring

2. Place for Application:

    School of International Education, UIBE (Rm. 207, Huibin House)

3. Documents for Application:

    1) For the course that starts in fall:

        * UIBE application form

        * A copy of High School diploma and transcripts

        * Proof of basic knowledge and skill of the Chinese language

        * Letter of guardian and a copy of guardian’s passport or ID

        * A copy of passport or other identification

    2) For the course that starts in spring:

        * UIBE application form

        * A copy of High School diploma and transcripts

        * Letter of guardian and a copy of guardian’s passport or ID

        * A copy of passport or other identification

 

Admission

The School of International Education will inform each applicant of the admission decision after receiving a complete application package. The applicant who has been accepted is required to submit a non-refundable tuition deposit of US$200, which will be deducted from the total tuition amount. The School will then issue the Admission Notice and JW202 Visa Application Form. The successful candidate can apply for a student visa at the Chinese embassy or consulate in his/her home country. They must register on the date stated in the Admission Notice.

 

Going up to UIBE’s Bachelor’s degree programs

Participants in the preparatory course who have fulfilled all subjects and passed all exams required and have observed school disciplines can move up to UIBE’s Bachelor’s degree programs automatically if they meet one of the following two requirements:

 

1. He/She has taken the HSK test before the completion of the preparatory course with a 

    result of Intermediate Level C or higher.

2. He/She studies hard in the preparatory course, having passes all courses and the final 

    exams with outstanding results.
