Tuition and Fees

1. Application Fee: the equivalent of US$ 80 in RMB

2. Tuition Fee:

    1) Tuition for Program 1: the equivalent of US$1200 in RMB per semester for the

        Chinese language courses, plus RMB 400 per credit for the Economic courses

    2) Tuition for Program 2: RMB 1200 per credit

    3) Tuition for Program 3: RMB 5600 each student

    4) Tuition for Short-term Intensive Chinese programs:

        the equivalent of US$ 440 in RMB / 4 weeks

Application

1. Deadlines for Program 1 and Program 2

    Fall semester - April1 ~ May 30

    Spring semester - October 1 ~ November 30

2. Reference Documents for Application (prepared in either Chinese or English)

    1) UIBE application form

    2) A copy of High School diploma and transcripts

    3) Letter of guardian and a copy of guardian's passport or ID

    4) A copy of passport or other identification

    5) Application fee: The equivalent of US$ 80 in RMB

    6) If the applicant meets the above qualifications, he/she may also send with the US$80

       application fee a non-refundable US$200 tuition deposit (see below). This willexpedite

       the admission process.

Admission Procedures

The School of International Education will inform each applicant of the admission decision within two weeks after receiving a complete application package. The applicants who have been accepted are required to submit a non-refundable tuition deposit of US$200, which will be deducted from the total tuition amount. The School will then issue the Admission Notice and JW202 Visa Application Form. The successful candidate can apply for a student visa at the Chinese embassy or consulate in his/her home country. All students must register at UIBE on the date stated in the Admission Notice.
